Stampin' Up! Jars of Love.....Fishes and Fireflys

Hello again,

Well another hot day, are you loving it or not ?

I like the heat...as long as I don't have to do too much, so I'm just chilling and enjoying it.

So, here are the other couple of cards I made from the Jars of Love set. I have used a couple more of the new in colours, Dapper Denim...... 

and Sweet Sugarplum..

There are so many different stamps in this set the possibilities are endless I don't think you could make the same card twice.

Stampin' Up! Jars of Love..... the flowers

Hiya,

Well, be careful what you wish for....after asking for Summer to arrive last week we now have sweltering heat, we're never happy are we ?

So the coolest place to be was my kitchen and as it was too hot for much anything except crafting I spent a happy afternoon stamping.

I just loved the Jars of Love Set when I first saw it, but when it arrived I just didn't know what to do with it, my mojo had left the building as far as this set was concerned.

So instead of trying to think of a card as a whole I cut some 10cm x 10cm squares of Whisper White card and decided to have a play. It went better than expected to be honest and then it was easy to add some lovely new in colour designer papers and turn them into beautiful cards. This one is with Flirty Flamingo,

and this one is Peekaboo Peach. I used a masking technique so I could stamp lots of flowers with going over the original ones

Think these stamps are going to get a lot more use now. I made some more with the same stamp set which I will share with you on Sunday.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Builder Framelits

Hello,

Sun is shining but still not very warm.....come on Summer where are you ?

Had an order for a birthday card and because  I just love these dies decided to use them again....they are so versatile and pretty ! I must admit that once I take a fancy to something I tend to do it to death until I get it out of my system. And,I've only used a few of them ...you actually get 14 dies with this set...bargain.

So with just a few layers of card and designer paper, the lovely die cut flowers and leaves and the Birthday Blooms sentiment set it was done..

And I liked it so much I made another one and a matching box to go with it. This one is in the new In Colour Emerald Envy.
The lovely little box instructions came from Pootles papercraft.

And then once I got started I couldn't stop.....will be doing a little make and take with these items
at a workshop in August. Peekaboo Peach goes well with Basic Black don't you think ?

Stampin' Up! Floral Phrases and Flirty Flamingo

Hello,

I had a request to make a Thank You card for my Grandsons Nursery School teacher as he will soon be leaving to go to Big School in September. Where does the time go ? but I digress...

I decided to go with the new 2016-2018 in colour "Flirty Flamingo" , its a lovely girly pink and I used the Detailed Floral Thinlits Die to go with it.
