Halloween Treat Box

Hi Everyone,

As well as making cards I love making 3D projects, and so I treated myself to the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board when I placed my last order. As well as making envelopes in any size you need, you can use it to make lots of other projects as well and here is the first one I tried.

It's a super little treat box I have made for my Grandsons for Halloween. I have again used the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and Halloween Night Designer Paper, both from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue .

As always if you need any Stampin' Up! supplies my contact details and online shop are shown above and you can also download a catalogue but if you prefer the real thing to flick through give me a shout and I'll get one to you.

If you are ordering less than £150 please use my hostess code and then everyone that orders this month gets a little free gift from me.

Please don't use this code for orders over £150 because you will qualify for your own rewards.

Spooky Fun Sampler

Hello All,

I don't "do" Halloween but I just love the stuff you can make for it, so when I decided I couldn't resist the Spooky Fun Stamp Set, from the Autumn-Winter catalogue I knew I would have to make something with it.

As cards weren't appropriate I decided to order the Halloween Night Speciality Designer Series Paper and to try my hand at a sampler. Although the paper is Halloween based as it is double-sided there is a good supply of background papers that can be used after Halloween has been and gone.

I started with  a base of paper mounted on a layer of Basic Grey cardstock and then layered nine smaller squares mounted on Basic Black cardstock. On top of these I used the stamp set to make little pictures. I layered some of the sentiments on Pumpkin Pie and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and added some bits and pieces from my crafty stash .

I had made my sampler to fit into an Ikea Ribba Frame and the whole thing is now sitting on my mantelpiece looking good, even if I say so myself.

My Stampin' Up! Story

During a Stampin Up Team Talk recently we were asked what made us join up as demonstrators and to share our stories.

I have actually joined twice...the first time was back in 2012, I was living in Essex away from my crafting friends back in Kent so I joined a local craft group. I really can't quite remember if I had heard of Stampin Up before then....I have crafted for many years so it must have popped up on my radar somewhere, but there was a catalogue, on the table at the crop, so I looked.....and loved !

I took it home and pored over it looking at the pretty things you could make, the matching paper and card and inks....

Now anyone who knows me knows that I love a bit of colour coordination and if I may say so myself I am quite good at it, but Stampin Up made it so easy. So I joined and bought the Starter Kit. I went with the Brights set, cardstock, designer paper, the inkpads and some stamp sets and with this lovely stuff made lots of beautiful things.
.
Shortly after that life changed quite drastically for me and I moved back to Kent...new home, new job and I didn't continue as a demonstrator. But although I kept on crafting with lots of different products whenever I needed something quickly and with no hassle, I grabbed my Stampin Up matching set and tah dah ! something beautiful in no time.

After many years working long hours and shift work when I was made redundant I decided I would take some time out, do more crafting and try some craft fairs so I  headed for my little matching set and....oh dear ....nearly all gone, just bits and pieces and scraps here and there.
So I joined again. This time I went for the Subtles collection and was off again with beautiful matching colours ,co-ordinating papers and crisp, clear stamped images

This time around though, I am in a lovely team and have a new set of crafting friends I have never met thanks to Facebook and blogs and You Tube who all offer a wealth of inspiration.
And in that team we have all been telling our "why I joined " story and there are so many heartwarming stories of not only, why we joined but what it has meant to us since. It seems that crafting has helped many of us through illness, depression and heartache.

I have just started work again and will see where my Stampin Up journey will take me this time round.

That's the thing you see, you can join up and choose £130 of goodies for £99...when I joined I also got 2 extra Stamp Sets free, and you can stay as long as you like as long as you meet your minimum spend every quarter. Or you can stay and build a business as big or small as you like with no pressure but loads of support. Or you can wait until you run out of supplies and then  join again at a later date.

So if you love to craft, don't hesitate join up and join in with all us other crazy crafty ladies and gents who "get " this fabulous hobby, and ooh and ahh over the stamps and stroke the paper when it arrives...yes we all do it....

Click on the " shop with me " to get to my Stampin Up page and buy lovely stuff or when you are on that page, click on the " join the fun "and get lovely stuff at a discount and join my team.

Til next time, Happy Stampin

Foxy Friends Birthday Card

Hello,

Well life has been a bit mad for me lately...I have a new job which is a bit of a shock to the system when you haven't worked for a while !

It really has played havoc with my social life, but hey ho I have more money for crafting gooodies....Yay.

So, not much crafting done last month but I did make a card for my lovely great niece who celebrated her second birthday recently.

As she was only two I used my Foxy Friends Stamp Set and Punch, As I was originally going to go pink and girly I headed for my pad of Subtles Designer Paper and as I was flicking through the combination of Calypso Coral and Marina Mist caught my eye and hey...why not ??

I cut out some circles with the Layering Circles Framelits from the base paper layer and popped in Mr Foxy and added a greeting from my Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set. I then layered up a few mores circles with some Foxy footprints and it was ready to go.
