Celebrate with New Products !!

Almost back to normal now after the festivities, hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.

The end of the month and beginning of January also brings the Seasonal catalogue to an end...and the new one comes out !!

I have used some new products to make this birthday card, I was really pleased with how it turned out, always a bit of a struggle to make mens cards isn't it, but I like this layout and can see myself using it again with different colours and papers.

Along with the new catalogue comes Sale-A-Bration where you can earn free products with qualifying sales and the Celebrate You Thinlets Dies are one of these items ...I love this die the font is fabulous !

I used the new Picture Perfect Stamp Set to add a message to the inside of the card.

Watercolour and Merry Little Christmas

So, my last post before Christmas. I have been busy at work but managed to make all my christmas cards this year...but am I the only one that gets loads of inspiration once I have finished ?? Is it because the pressure is off...who knows ...but I might make a few more over the Christmas break and have a head start on next year !

This was a lovely simple card made in Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.. I just love that 'Oh Joy ' sentiment,I am afraid that the Watercolour Wishes Stamp Set has now sold out. I had a bit of a fight with the bow , but no change there !

There is a fabulous new catalogue out on the 3rd of January so if you have purchased from me this year hopefully you should have received your copy in the post by now....fabulous isn't it ?

Look out for some projects with all the new goodies after Christmas.

Christmas Cards with Winter Wonderland Embossing Folder

Hiya, I thought I would share today some of the cards I made last week for the charity Christmas Cheer Challenge.

I needed the cards to be simple but effective and easy to make.

I used the Seasonal Chums Bundle, these are actually little tags with a front and back, and had great fun colouring the images, never underestimate the therapeutic value of a bit of colouring in !

I made a white on white card and embossed the top layer with the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, I then just added a sentiment and the front image of the tag.

As a little finishing touch I added the rear image on the back of the card...well I couldn't waste them.

Christmas Cheer Challenge

Well, what a weekend !

A while back I decide to sign up for the Stampin Up Christmas Cheer Challenge.

Stampin Up support the Ronald McDonald Houses Charity. They provide free home from home accommodation for families who have children in hospitals that are not near to their own homes.

So the challenge was for all us Stampin Up demonstrators along with their families, friends and customers to make a total of 20,000 cards over the weekend.

I spread it over the whole three days and crafted for a few hours everyday with different people and altogether made a total of 75 cards !

Here are a selection of some of the cards we made.

We had such fun together chatting and crafting and all for such a good cause.

Petal Garden Card and Gift Box

I went out for lunch on Wednesday to celebrate a friend's birthday. I made her a card using the Petal Garden Paper Stack and a little gift box containing some scented tealights. 

I made a 6 x 6 Whisper White card base and layered the papers...so easy with this matching paper stack. The pretty birthday sentiment comes from the Happiest of Days Stamp Set..one of my favourite sets to use on a birthday card.

I used the Banner Punch to make the little flags and a little bow with some Ombre Ribbon.

The  gift box was made from Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and decorated it with some more paper from the stack, some ribbon and a matching tassel.

The tealights were sparkly with a lovely orange scent.

We had a lovely lunch and chatted about all things crafty so a good time was had by all !

Pootlers Petal Garden Birthday Blog

It's that time of the month again...the Pootlers Birthday Club Blog Hop !!

I hope you are enjoying the projects the team have made.

I love the Petal Garden Paper Stack and decided to make a family members birthday card with it.

I think these colours look great together and as all the papers are double-sided it's easy to get that layered look as the patterns and colours all match.

I went for a 'shabby chic' look and inked around the edges of some of the papers.

The top layer comes from the Petal Garden Memories and More pack that matches the paper pack with a sentiment from the Special Celebrations Stamp Set.
