Stampin Up Hey Chick New Home

Hello Everyone

My second project with The Hey Chick Stamp Set from Sale-a Bration is a New Home card I made for my sister.

She has just moved to live beside the sea on the South coast, and hopefully will have a spare room for me for some summer weekend getaways !

I used some Cupcakes and Carousels design paper on a Calypso Coral card base. The image I stamped and paper pieced with the same paper then die cut and layered with the Stitched Shape Framelit dies.  I cut one of the lace doilies in half for a bit of added interest.
The sentiment is made from the Labeller Alphabet Stamp Set.

This versatile Stamp Set is available to you FREE !! when you spend £45 in either the Annual or Spring/Summer catalogues.

For more information please don't hesitate to contact me.

Please sign up on the sidebar for e mail notifications of my new blog posts. I will be showing you another super project using this Stamp Set on Thursday.

Until then

Happy Stamping

Hey Chick Upcycled Project

Hello Everyone,

Here we are again for the Sale-A Bration Blog Hop with the Pootlers Team

Today we are showing projects that you can make from the free products in the Sale-A Bration catalogue. Every time you spend £45/60 Euros, from the main or Spring/Summer catalogue you get a free product from Sale-A Bration catalogue.

What are they like ??? Have a look at our Blog Hop today and you can see some of them. You can also click on the picture to the right on the sidebar and view the PDF version.

This week on my blog I am going to be featuring projects I have made with the " Hey Chick " Stamp Set.  It's so fun and quirky...I love it !

My first project is an upcycled picture frame I picked up in the Summer while I was out shopping with my sister. We always pop into the Charity Shops and usually end up buying something up with the idea of upcyling it. And so, like you I expect, I have a little pile of "Projects Pending"....

But the other day I knuckled under and made good on this one . It started like this.....

A rather worn out picture frame with a little twine hanging line and a single peg...it cost me the princely sum of £ 1.99.

So, I cut some card and designer paper , Dapper Denim, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White.
Stamped with the Hey Chick Stamp Set and die cut with Botanical Blooms Framelits
and after making a bit of a mess......

I ended up with a rather nice (if I do say so myself) individual piece of Wall Art for my kitchen which will make me smile every morning.

Best of all it cost me practically NOTHING to make apart from some of my existing supplies as the stamp set was FREE !!!

Hope it makes you smile too.

Thank you for stopping by today I hope you enjoy looking at all the projects my teammates and I have come up with and maybe I have inspired you to get going on your own Projects Pending pile.

If you want to join our lovely team, get a catalogue or find out more about Stampin Up just get in touch with me.

Happy Stamping

Enjoy the Little Things with Layering Love

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are well and not too chilly.

As I write this the sun is shining, but it is freezing cold here in Kent. But at least it's not raining !

My project for today was a card I made for a swap group at the end of last year and in all the Christmas rush, I forgot to show you it, so here it is now.

I embossed the sentiment from the Layering Love Set with Gold embossing powder and then decorated with the flowers and foliage stamps from the Jars of Love Stamp Set.

The card base is Peekaboo Peach and the layer is Daffodil Delight.
I used the same colours for the stamping, along with Old Olive for the leaves and doodled a bit around the edge.

This is such a simple card to make and of course you can use lots of different colourway options.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by today. As always you can go to the Shop Now button on the sidebar to purchase any of these products. If you need any further information or would like a catalogue please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Just a reminder too, along with the launch of our Spring/Summer catalogue comes Sale-A-Bration which means that for every £45 you spend you can pick an item for free from the mini catalogue.

Until next time,

Happy Stamping

Beautiful You

Hello Everyone,

Today I am taking part in my Stampin Up teams Blog Hop that is celebrating  the launch of the Spring/Summer Catalogue featuring lots of  new Stamp Sets and Papers. So if you have just arrived from one of my teamies... Welcome I hope you are enjoying all the lovely projects.

*****

The Stamp Set I have made my card with showcases the Beautiful You Stamp Set. I personally think that this is going to be one of the most popular sets , lovely stamps, sentiments and so many uses.

The card base is Pool Party cardstock and I used the Definitely Dahlia stamp from the Annual Catalogue in  Calypso Coral. As I didn't want the colour to be too strong I stamped off on a sheet of paper first.

I then stamped the lovely stylish lady from the Beautiful You Stamp Set on the top and layered onto Basic Black cardstock.

I then wrapped some Pool Party Bakers Twine around and finished it off with a little bow, both of these items are from the Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishments Kit.

The sentiment also comes from the Beautiful You Stamp Set along with the little background shadow.

I finished it off with some Calypso Coral Enamel Shapes.

Please click on the links below to see all the other Pootlers projects.

Thanks for stopping by today I hope you are enjoying all the lovely creations.

*****

Beautiful You is such a versatile Stamp Set, please feel free to pop over to my shop and buy it now !!

The PDF version of the new catalogues are available to look at in the sidebar, but if you would like a'proper' version do give me a shout. Remember also for every £45 you spend you get to pick a free item from the Sale-a Bration catalogue.

As always, don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like more information.

I think not !!  Stampin Up now have the new Spring/Summer Catalogue out along with Sale-A-Bration until the end of March. So we have lots of new Stamps and papers out AND free goodies.

*****

On New Years Day my parents celebrated their 62nd Anniversary...yes... 62 years and still such a loving couple.

I used lots of lovely stuff from the new catty. The background is a sheet of beautiful Falling In Love Designer paper (p51). I used the Congratulations stamp from the Floral Phrases set in the Annual Catalogue (p77) and stamped on a frame from the Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishment Kit (p9).
Also from this kit are the scattered sequins...fun sticking them on...lol

The doilies in the background are Whisper White on one side and Very Vanilla on the other, very useful, I finished off with a bow in the Gold Satin ribbon and some little pearls.

*****

The PDF version of the new catalogues are available to look at in the sidebar, but if you would like a 'proper' version do give me a shout. Remember also for every £45 you spend you get to pick a free item from the Sale-a Bration catalogue, so head on over to my shop and stock up !

Starlight Christmas Cards

Hello Everyone

As promised here is a look at the last of the Christmas Cards I have made this year.

As I am not particularly religious I didn't get this set of Framelits straight away, but after seeing some of my fellow demonstrators cards I had to order them.

They are a lovely set of dies and have a set of matching stamps that go with them.

I used a Mint Macaron card base and layered with a strip of gold foil and topped with some Serene Scenery Design Paper. I then used the Framelits to die cut the lovely star shapes in Whisper White and Gold and then layered them up and finished with a pearl embellishment.

I embossed the sentiment from the Tin of Tags Stamp set onto Whisper White and used the Stitched Shaped Framelits to die cut that  and a second in Gold to layer it onto.

This one is made with a Sweet Sugarplum background using the lovely swirl and sentiment from the Stamp Set...so pretty. I finished it off with the lovely die cut star.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas.

As always if you would like any of these Stampin' Up! supplies, my contact details and online shop are shown above and you can also download a catalogue but if you prefer the real thing to flick through give me a shout and I'll get one to you.

If you are ordering less than £150 please use my hostess code and then everyone that orders this month gets a little free gift from me.

Project Life Birthday Cards

Hello,

I expect you are all busy getting ready for Christmas...or not. I haven't done much yet, bit of a last minute girl !

I have nearly finished my Christmas Cards though, I have shared some with you already and when I have finished my last batch off I will give you a peak one day next week.

Anyway I as started last Sunday here are some more cards I have made from the Hello Lovely, Project Life Kit. You can have a look at the kit on Page 163 of the Annual Catalogue, Item No 141668. This kit is basically 100 double sided decorated cards in three different sizes, which you can use as a basis for a scrapbooking album, but I have used them to make various occasion cards.

I made this one using two of the cards and some paper from the Serene Scenery pack as a background. I added some flowers from the Botanical Builder Framelit Set.

This one was made in very similar colourways.

This set helps you to make beautiful cards quickly and easily, hope you like them.
Think how many "Thank You" cards you could make....wouldn't they be useful after Christmas ?

As always if you would like any of these Stampin' Up! supplies, my contact details and online shop are shown above and you can also download a catalogue but if you prefer the real thing to flick through give me a shout and I'll get one to you.

Cable Knit Christmas Cards

Hello Everyone,

Just finished another little batch of Christmas Cards.

I love to decide on a design and then make quite a few in different colourways,

This were  very easy to do. I used Emerald Envy and Real Red to make the card bases. You can make two cards from a single sheet of A4 card.
I used the Cable Knit embossing folder to make a top layer of Winter White, wrapping around some Bakers Twine before attaching to the card base.
I  made the toppers from the Stitched Shapes dies along with a sentiment from the Tin of Tags stamp set and then cut out separate elements from the Candy Cane designer paper and added some Bakers Twine bows.
Simple and Stylish I hope, with a touch of fun.

I was out and about on Saturday at another demonstrators Christmas Party. Great fun was had including party games and a raffle. There was also a make and take I was allowed to join in with making a couple of boxes from the Curvy Keepsake die set. Ain't they cute ???

As always if you need any Stampin' Up! supplies my contact details and online shop are shown above and you can also download a catalogue but if you prefer the real thing to flick through give me a shout and I'll get one to you.

The Artful Stampers and Pootlers Blog Hop

Hi Everyone or should I say G'day

Well ....HOW EXCITING.... Today I am taking part in a blog hop with our lovely Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia. they are members of a team called The Artful Stampers and they are hopping with my Pootlers team .

There is no theme, it's anything goes, so there should be a fabulous selection of cards to see today !

So welcome...here is my card...

This is the first card I will be showing you this month that I made from the Hello Lovely, Project Life Kit.

The Project Life Kits are a quick and easy way to do scrapbooking but as you can see you can easily make lovely cards from them.

This one was for a very dear crafty friend of mine who has moved to another part of the country, so the sentiment was very apt and it goes well with our exciting blog hop today.
The colours I used were Soft Suede, Soft Sky and a touch of Old Olive. I made the flowers from the Botanical Builder Framelits with the addition of our lovely enamel shape dots.

Please join me for the next few Sundays to see what else I come up with.

If you are blog hopping, and I definitely will be, I hope you have enjoyed my card and I thank you for dropping by. Please click on the blue button to view the other lovely contributions.

If you would like to buy this kit or any other supplies, please go to my online shop via the link in the sidebar.

Warmth & Cheer...For Christmas

Hello Everyone,

Thought I had better get cracking with some Christmas Cards. When you have to make quite a few its best to keep them fairly simple. I like to come up with a few ideas and then make them in batches changing the colourways so it doesn't get to boring.

So the first batch I have done uses the Warmth and Cheer Paper Pad and the Wonderful Year Stamp Set.

The super paper and the lovely sentiment makes it so easy to make a striking card.
I have added some ribbon and a snowflake made from the Starlight Thinlits Dies.

Dont forget the Stampin Up Extravaganza Sale is on until 28th November, pop over to my online shop and check out the bargains.

Warmth and Cheer, not just for Christmas

Hiya,

Got my new Stitched Shapes Framelit dies and they are lovely !!

I had to make a Man's Card....yikes...why do we always struggle ?? possibly because we can't put lots of flowers and other bits and bobs on it.
Anyway I had just received my latest order which included the Warmth and Cheer pad along with my super duper new dies, which was headed toward some Christmas Cards. But, on flicking through this 6 x 6 pad there were lots of lovely tartan pages - great for male cards.

So , this is the finished article, I used some Delightful Dijon and Basic Gray cardstock to layer it up and the sentiment is from the Better Together Stamp set.
Hope you like it, I think it is quite sharp and smart.

Be back soon when I will be using this pad for some Christmas cards !

Halloween Treat Box

Hi Everyone,

As well as making cards I love making 3D projects, and so I treated myself to the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board when I placed my last order. As well as making envelopes in any size you need, you can use it to make lots of other projects as well and here is the first one I tried.

It's a super little treat box I have made for my Grandsons for Halloween. I have again used the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and Halloween Night Designer Paper, both from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue .

As always if you need any Stampin' Up! supplies my contact details and online shop are shown above and you can also download a catalogue but if you prefer the real thing to flick through give me a shout and I'll get one to you.

Spooky Fun Sampler

Hello All,

I don't "do" Halloween but I just love the stuff you can make for it, so when I decided I couldn't resist the Spooky Fun Stamp Set, from the Autumn-Winter catalogue I knew I would have to make something with it.

As cards weren't appropriate I decided to order the Halloween Night Speciality Designer Series Paper and to try my hand at a sampler. Although the paper is Halloween based as it is double-sided there is a good supply of background papers that can be used after Halloween has been and gone.

I started with  a base of paper mounted on a layer of Basic Grey cardstock and then layered nine smaller squares mounted on Basic Black cardstock. On top of these I used the stamp set to make little pictures. I layered some of the sentiments on Pumpkin Pie and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and added some bits and pieces from my crafty stash .

I had made my sampler to fit into an Ikea Ribba Frame and the whole thing is now sitting on my mantelpiece looking good, even if I say so myself.

As always if you need any Stampin' Up! supplies my contact details and online shop are shown above and you can also download a catalogue but if you prefer the real thing to flick through give me a shout and I'll get one to you.

My Stampin' Up! Story

During a Stampin Up Team Talk recently we were asked what made us join up as demonstrators and to share our stories.

I have actually joined twice...the first time was back in 2012, I was living in Essex away from my crafting friends back in Kent so I joined a local craft group. I really can't quite remember if I had heard of Stampin Up before then....I have crafted for many years so it must have popped up on my radar somewhere, but there was a catalogue, on the table at the crop, so I looked.....and loved !

I took it home and pored over it looking at the pretty things you could make, the matching paper and card and inks....

Now anyone who knows me knows that I love a bit of colour coordination and if I may say so myself I am quite good at it, but Stampin Up made it so easy. So I joined and bought the Starter Kit. I went with the Brights set, cardstock, designer paper, the inkpads and some stamp sets and with this lovely stuff made lots of beautiful things.
.
Shortly after that life changed quite drastically for me and I moved back to Kent...new home, new job and I didn't continue as a demonstrator. But although I kept on crafting with lots of different products whenever I needed something quickly and with no hassle, I grabbed my Stampin Up matching set and tah dah ! something beautiful in no time.

After many years working long hours and shift work when I was made redundant I decided I would take some time out, do more crafting and try some craft fairs so I  headed for my little matching set and....oh dear ....nearly all gone, just bits and pieces and scraps here and there.
So I joined again. This time I went for the Subtles collection and was off again with beautiful matching colours ,co-ordinating papers and crisp, clear stamped images

This time around though, I am in a lovely team and have a new set of crafting friends I have never met thanks to Facebook and blogs and You Tube who all offer a wealth of inspiration.
And in that team we have all been telling our "why I joined " story and there are so many heartwarming stories of not only, why we joined but what it has meant to us since. It seems that crafting has helped many of us through illness, depression and heartache.

I have just started work again and will see where my Stampin Up journey will take me this time round.

That's the thing you see, you can join up and choose £130 of goodies for £99...when I joined I also got 2 extra Stamp Sets free, and you can stay as long as you like as long as you meet your minimum spend every quarter. Or you can stay and build a business as big or small as you like with no pressure but loads of support. Or you can wait until you run out of supplies and then  join again at a later date.

So if you love to craft, don't hesitate join up and join in with all us other crazy crafty ladies and gents who "get " this fabulous hobby, and ooh and ahh over the stamps and stroke the paper when it arrives...yes we all do it....

Click on the " shop with me " to get to my Stampin Up page and buy lovely stuff or when you are on that page, click on the " join the fun "and get lovely stuff at a discount and join my team.

Til next time, Happy Stampin

As she was only two I used my Foxy Friends Stamp Set and Punch, As I was originally going to go pink and girly I headed for my pad of Subtles Designer Paper and as I was flicking through the combination of Calypso Coral and Marina Mist caught my eye and hey...why not ??

I cut out some circles with the Layering Circles Framelits from the base paper layer and popped in Mr Foxy and added a greeting from my Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set. I then layered up a few mores circles with some Foxy footprints and it was ready to go.

Happy Day with Perfectly Wrapped

Hello, hello, how are we all ?

The sun is still shining here in Kent and I decided to use the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set to make some lovely summery birthday cards.

I must admit I am using this project for a number of uses.

Firstly the Pootles weekly colour challenge #009 which asks you to use, Watermelon Wonder, Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzaz and So Saffron. I missed out the Watermelon Wonder mainly because I haven't got it ! lol. The colours are so sunny and I made the same cards but swapped the colours around.

My second use for this project is by adding the little gift bag I have my project for my monthly workshops. My guests will be able to make four cards and a matching gift bag.
Lastly I have a few birthday cards to send out this month so, job done ! I love it when a plan comes together

So....loving this stamp set. It combines with a project kit to make gift bags and boxes, so if you fancy getting some friends together for a crafty session let me know.

My contact details and online shop are shown above and you can also download a catalogue but if you prefer the real thing to flick through give me a shout and I'll get one to you.

If you are ordering less than £150 please use my hostess code and then everyone that orders this month gets a little free gift from me.
Please don't use this code for orders over £150 because you will qualify for your own rewards.

Meanwhile Happy Stampin !
