Balloon Adventures with Jars of Love

In my Stampin Up team we have a monthly card swap club. We make one card a month, different theme every month and swap with another member of the club. Also we try and send a birthday card to every member of the swap club in their birthday month. 

If you follow my blog you will know it was my birthday in March and I received loads of beautiful handmade cards. In the swap club there was another lady with a birthday and this is the card I made for her.

I love the 'Best Fishes' sentiment and the little goldfish in the Jars of Love Stamp Set and as my teammate is also a fellow Piscean it seemed like fun to use them along with some birthday balloons from the Balloon Adventures Stamp Set.

I went with Calypso Coral and Pool Party colourways from the Subtles Collection and tied a little bit of Calypso Coral ribbon on the jar as a finishing touch.

I thought it turned out as a lovely personalised card in a different sort of way.

I am so excited to be off to the Stampin Up convention in Amsterdam on Thursday. This event is full of crafting and meeting fellow demonstrators and will be such fun. Blooms and Bliss Birthday Cards

I used the lovely Blooms and Bliss Designer Paper Pack to make a couple of birthday cards.

This great set of paper makes it so easy to make beautiful cards.

I made the cards in two different colourways, one in Island Indigo and one in Sweet Sugarplum.

I used the Layering Circles Framelits and stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful You Stamp Set.

I finished them off with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels, some Enamel Shapes and some retired sparkly ribbon.

I am busy now making swaps for the Stampin Up convention next week in Amsterdam...maybe I'll give you a sneak peek soon ....

Remarkable You...Beautiful Bling

I have a  lovely Mum and we often craft together, so I always have to make an extra special offering for Mothers Day.

My Mum does like a bit of bling and this doesn't fail on that count. I did use a few different products but hey........ she is worth it !

After I took this picture I mounted it in an Ikea Ribba box frame. I often  make shadow boxes and samplers and have made a few for Mum over the past couple of years. They are a nice size to work with and look great on the wall...suddenly a fabulous card becomes a work of art.

Avant Garden, Black, White and Bermuda Bay

Just think the Avant Garden Stamp Set is so versatile

This Stamp Set has some lovely sentiments but I chose to leave this card without one...useful for any time I need it.

I made my own backing paper with some of the images and matched the black and white with the lovely Bermuda Bay cardstock. And, that little sparkle of the Glimmer Paper, sadly now sold out from The Sale-A-Bration stock. 

So if there's anything you have your eye on, best get it while you can !

Quite stylish and striking, even if I say so myself....

Hey Chick...catch them while you can

Not long before this Stamp set is gone forever.....just 9 days !

I made this card from the Hey Chick Stamp Set a couple of months ago for a friend, so I thought I'd share it today while it is still available.

This is one of the FREE Stamp Sets in Sale A Bration while stocks last.

I used backing paper from the lovely paper stack Carousels and Cupcakes along with a card base in Calypso Coral cardstock and used the same paper stack to paper piece the shaggy haired chick.

Lovely for an Easter card as well don't you think ?
