Daisy Lane and Tasteful Textures InspireINK Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to September's InspireINK blog hop.

This months challenge is in the form of a Tic Tac Toe. I could pick any row, up, down or diagonally from this picture.

After some deliberation I chose the vertical line on the left , Gold, Balmy Blue and |Smoky Slate and this is the card I made.

I stamped the damask image from the Tasteful Textures Stamp Set in Whisper White Craft Ink randomly onto a panel of Smoky Slate. After that I ran it through the Pinewood Plank 3D Embossing Folder which gives a textured wood finish.

I added some interest by inking around the edges of the Panel with Smoky Slate Ink.

I stamped the same image in Balmy Blue on some Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Stampin Emboss Powder and then cut it out with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

This is such a great sentiment...my crafting time definitely makes my soul happy !

I stamped and punched both sizes of the daisies from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and layered them up...they make such lovely dimensional flowers and added a Gold Faceted Gem to the center

Some Vellum leaves, Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and a bit of retired gold sequin behind the flower finished it off.

I think this turned out to be a really pretty card and would look great in lots of  different colourways.

As always have a hop around at my crafty pals projects they are all there to inspire you.

Happy Stamping

Monster Bash Pop and Twist Halloween Card

Hello there, welcome to the Pootlers New Catalogue Blog Hop

For this blog hop I thought I would make a project using the fun Monster Bash Designer Paper from the 2019 Autumn/Winter catalogue.

I really enjoy making Pop and Twist cards, they are great for a special occasion card and I have made a few recently for special birthdays.

I have never 'done ' Halloween...it wasn't such a big thing in the UK when my children were young but I do love all the papers and products that arrive at this time of year and enjoy  making something with them.

This pack of designer paper has lots of spooky paper and because they are all double-sided, some that you can use any time of year, you can see some more of them in the background of the photos.

One of the papers has a a gallery of halloween creatures and I used these to make a gallery inside the card. I have also used the Detailed Bands dies...I just adore these..so pretty and versatile, as frames both on the inside and the front.

I have used some of the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon in Crushed Curry and a tag from the Tags Tags Tags bundle on the front of the card and .

This set has stamps and tags for Halloween, Christmas and looking ahead, Valentines Day !

Thanks for looking today. I hope you have enjoyed my project and will hop around to see what my team mates have made.

Have fun and Happy Stamping

Magnolia Lane Wedding Card- InspireINK Blog Hop

Hello,

Magnolia Lane Wedding Card Detailed Bands Dies Stampin Up

Well I'm back from my holidays just in time for this months InspireINK blog hop with a wedding theme.

Even though I missed my crafting while I was away my mojo has deserted me in the heat so it was good to have a reason to knuckle under and make this card.

Magnolia Lane Wedding Card Detailed Bands Dies Stampin Up

I chose a Crumb Cake and Petal Pink colourway to go with the matching colours in the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.

I used the Detailed Bands dies and  a sentiment from the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set, it is so suited to a wedding card and such a pretty font.

I added a flourish with a bow from the gorgeous new Organdy Striped Ribbon and added a die cut heart and a Bird Ballad trinket. A couple of matching sequins finished off my pretty card.

Thank you for looking today...I hope you like my project. Please hop around and have a peek at all the others, they are sure to be fabulous !

Beautiful Friendship and Detailed Bands Dies

Hello, hello,

Every time a new catalogue comes out I get together with my lovely team mates and do a card swap with new products from the catalogue. its so nice to get other ideas and see some of the products you don't have (yet....).

Beautiful Friendship Detailed Bands Dies Stampin Up

I love this Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set and was going for a 'shabby Chic' look with some beautiful pale colours, Blushing Bride, Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam.

Beautiful Friendship Detailed Bands Dies Stampin Up

Once I had stamped the top layer I ran it through the Subtles Embossing Folder to add a linen look to it.

Beautiful Friendship Detailed Bands Dies Stampin Up

I then used one of the Detailed Bands Dies to add the sentiment and slightly raised the centre part with some dimensionals. To finish off I added some of our Faceted Gems.

I made 5 of these to send out and will receive 5 different cards back in return.

It's always so nice to get happy mail !

Happy Stamping

Hiya,

I am showcasing today the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set.

This is a brand new Stamp Set from the NEW Annual Catalogue.

Beautiful Friendship, Delicate Lace Dies, Birthday Card Stampin Up

I love the soft flowers in this set and it's so easy to make a beautiful card with just a little stamping.

I stamped the flowers in Highland Heather and teamed it with Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

The sentiment is from the same Stamp Set and I have used one of the Delicate Lace Dies for the first time...isn't it gorgeous ?

InspireINK Blog Hop with Picture Perfect

Hello Everyone, thanks for visiting, hope you are all well.

I am taking part today in this months InspireINK Blog Hop.

The theme this month is Retiring Products.
This is to coincide with the NEW Stampin Up catalogue being available from June 4th.

One of my most used Stamps Sets from the 2018 catalogue is Picture Perfect, it is so useful and I love the two step stamped rosette !

Picture Perfect Stampin Up Birthday Card

As a retiring project I have not only used a retiring stamp set but some paper as well, the fabulously colourful How Sweet It Is Designer paper Series.
This card uses up some of the last few pieces of this paper that I have left.

I have also managed to sneak in some of the Team Room Ribbon that is also leaving us.

On my Whisper White card base I have used Gorgeous Grape and Coastal Cabana, such a lovely combination and I think suitable for a giving to either a male or female.

Please hop around and see the wonderful projects made by my team mates, and make sure you get any of the retiring products you may have had your eye on before it is too late !

As I mentioned earlier the new Annual Catalogue goes live on 4th June, shout if you need a copy.

Happy Stamping

All the Good Things Card

I love this stamp set, it has really nice sentiments and that Oriental vibe.

all the good things stampin Up

I used the retiring Tranquil Tide In Colour ink and cardstock, layering with just a tiny bit of Grapefruit Grove Foil, Copper Foil would give the same look.

I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies to do the layering and some First Frost Paper with a hint of glimmer.

The stamp set is a DistINKtive one which means that the stamp has layers giving it that depth of colour.

All the good things, Stampin Up

There are some smaller fishes in the set and I used these to decorate the inside...aren't they just so cute. The sentiment is from the Special Celebrations Stamp Set.

Thanks for looking today. I hoped you liked my little creation.

Happy Stamping

Picture Perfect Pop and Twist

I had been wanting to try a Pop and Twist card for a while but didn't quite know where to start so I thought I would take part in this months InspireINK   challenge for inspiration.

This month is a Tic Tac Toe challenge.

I had to pick three colours in a row to use in my project. I must admit I wasn't drawn to any at first sight, but eventually decided on the bottom row, Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Mossy Meadow.

Picture perfect, pop and twist, stampin up

I followed a tutorial by Jan B on You Tube...look for Pop and Twist Tutorial.

I was really pleased with how it turned out and think these colours look great together..wouldn't want any more Mossy Meadow though !

I used the Picture Perfect Stamp Set. This set won't be in the new catalogue sadly, but it will be staying on my shelf !

Picture perfect, pop and twist, stampin up

This is what the inside looks like. It all folds away inside the card...so clever.

Apart from the stamp set, I only used inks and card in the three colours and  stamped my own pattern on Whisper White cardstock.

Picture perfect, pop and twist, stampin up

If you haven't tried this sort of card give it a go, it's great fun and makes a card a bit more special.

I think I am a bit addicted now with lots of ideas for some others.

Just a little reminder...once you have finished your project put it somewhere safe, don't leave it to fall onto an open inkpad.....just saying...
