Today is my final project in my birthday week using the Balloon Adventures Stamp Set and how well timed is it that I can join in with my Stampin Up Team's Birthday Club Blog Hop
Every month members of my team who have a birthday join in and post their creations. So if you have found your way here from Sams Blog... Welcome
My third and final project with this versatile stamp set and another easy one...apart from tying the fiddly bow with the gold bakers twine...lol
I used a card base made from Blushing Bride cardstock and used a stamp from the set to make my own background by stamping in Black. I felt it needed some depth to it so I used a black marker and a ruler to draw a line around the edge of the card.
This was easier to do than I thought and gives a good effect.
I stamped three balloons and the sentiment in Black on Very Vanilla cardstock and then punched out the balloons with the Balloon Punch and die cut the sentiment with a Stitched Shape Oval Thinlet with a Basic Black layer.
I used some gold bakers twine to make 3 strings for the balloons and attached them from the balloons and then tied a little bow to link them to the sentiment.
Both the sentiment and balloon shapes were attached to the base card with some dimensionals.
The embellishments and bakers twine were leftover from a Stampin Up Christmas Kit but you could use any you have to hand.
I love this little card and will be making some more in different colours.
Thanks for visiting my blog today I hope you have enjoyed this project.
Happy Stampin
