In my Stampin Up team we have a monthly card swap club. We make one card a month, different theme every month and swap with another member of the club. Also we try and send a birthday card to every member of the swap club in their birthday month.
If you follow my blog you will know it was my birthday in March and I received loads of beautiful handmade cards. In the swap club there was another lady with a birthday and this is the card I made for her.
I love the 'Best Fishes' sentiment and the little goldfish in the Jars of Love Stamp Set and as my teammate is also a fellow Piscean it seemed like fun to use them along with some birthday balloons from the Balloon Adventures Stamp Set.
I went with Calypso Coral and Pool Party colourways from the Subtles Collection and tied a little bit of Calypso Coral ribbon on the jar as a finishing touch.
I thought it turned out as a lovely personalised card in a different sort of way.
I am so excited to be off to the Stampin Up convention in Amsterdam on Thursday. This event is full of crafting and meeting fellow demonstrators and will be such fun.
