I made a card last week for a friend and because I liked the way it turned out thought I would make a similar one for my Darling Daughter, but because she is so special, the card had to be too !
So this is the stepped up version of my original card.
I made a Basic Black 6" x 6" card and layered with another of the beautiful Bundle of Love Speciality Designer Papers.
I stamped the sentiments from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set onto Very Vanilla and used the cake from the Happiest of Days Stamp Set.
Anyone who knows us knows we love a bit of cake !
The Layering Ovals Framelits came out again and I matted the sentiments onto a Black layer.
I then added the balloons and heat embossed them for a sparkly touch. The Black Shimmer ribbon finished it off.
I love that you can make either a fairly simple card with these fabulous products and then' Step It Up ' with some extra techniques to make a fancier card.
