Sweet Soiree Birthday Card

The Sweet Soiree Speciality Designer Paper Set is lovely...It is from the Spring/Summer catalogue and so pretty, as well as beautiful patterns the double-sided sheets are all foiled on one side.

The card I am sharing today uses a sheet of this paper along with the Jar of Love Stamp Set and dies. They make such nice flowers and foliage and I am pleased to say that this set carries over to the new catalogue.

I thought I would try a different style of card today....it was a bit tricky getting the cut out bit in the right place but once you get the hang of it I think it makes for a nice change.

We only have until the end of the month now to get a lot of the products in the current catalogues and then the new one is out on the 1st June !!

So much fab new stuff in it along with new and returning colours !!

Happy Stampin

  2. Would love to know what this technique is called? Also how to do it? I've seen it displayed before and try to figure out how to make it. But, I'll be honest, this one has thrown me for a loop! Help Please.

    1. Hi Gloria, I don't know what it's called either !
Cut a square of patterned paper, then make a triangle template the same width as the paper. Lay the template one the patterned paper, mark and cut. Put the paper back together on another layer of paper. Lay ribbon over the edges if you like.
      Hope this is clear .
