Foil Frenzy Gift Envelope

I have another Foil Frenzy project to share with you today.

I made a gift Envelope for my Son in my post on Wednesday to match his card and I also made another one for my Sister to hold a little treat I found for her.

I used the Tangerine Tango Striped Paper this time. I followed the instructions on the Envelope Punch Board for making a 5" x 3" envelope and then used some Crumb Cake cardstock to make a little belly band to wrap around it.

I die cut some of the Layering Circle Framelits with a sentiment from the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set.

Oh and what was in it ???

My Sister has 2 French Bulldogs and I saw these and knew I had to buy her a couple....

|They are air fresheners to hang in the car...Aren't they cute ?

Foil Frenzy Birthday Card

It was my Son's 30th birthday yesterday....blimey that makes me feel old !!

I know ..we have an aversion to making mens cards but the wonderful Foil Frenzy Designer Paper has come to our rescue. It really is fabulous, substantial quality, not paper like at all. It comes in four colours, Tangerine Tango, Soft Sky, Berry Burst and the one I used Lemon Lime Twist.

I used a 6" x 6" Crumb Cake Card Base and the Number of Years Stamp Set and matching Framelits.

I used the same Designer Paper to make a matching Gift Envelope with my Envelope Punch Board and the Label Me Pretty Bundle.

Tealight Gift Bags and Matching Cards

I have lots of birthdays in August for female friends of mine. I think everyone loves to receive a handmade card and I try to make a small gift to go with it.

I used a piece of paper 6" x 6" square from the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Paper Pack for the little tealight bag and another piece for the card. I used the matching cardstock Soft Sky, Crushed Curry and Tranquil Tide for the cardbase and layers and some matching Crushed Curry Bakers Twine.

The sentiment on the card is from the Happiest of Days Stamp Set.

The tealight bag is finished with a punched tag from the Label Me Pretty bundle and some Tranquil Tide ribbon.

I made a few of these in different paper and colours.

This one is in Berry Burst and the Fresh Floral Designer Paper Pack.

This one is in Fresh Fig and Gold.

Happiest of Days

I am sharing with you today a birthday card I made last week. I am a little time challenged at the moment and this was a simple card to make, but so pretty I think.

I used the Naturally Eclectic Designer Paper Series on a Night of Navy card base with a layer of Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest of Days Stamp Set and mounted it on with the Oval Layering Thinlets.

Although you can't see very well the Paper has a pattern on with flowers and I fussy cut some of those and layered them up to make a couple of 3D flowers and leaves. The little stamen is from a retired set of dies but I still use it a lot. I added some little gems from my stash to add a bit of bling.

Thank You Gift Bag Tutorial

I was asked to make some Gift Bags for Teachers Gifts recently and of course they don't have to be just for Teachers. These are lovely and easy to make so I thought I would do a tutorial for you today so that you can make some of your own. The finished bags measure approximately 6 1/2" x3 1/2" x 2".

They are made from one sheet of A4 card (UK size 8 1/4" x 11 1/2" ) and you will also need a piece of patterned paper, I used the Fresh Florals Designer Paper Stack.

My A4 card was in Whisper White cardstock and you need to score it on the long side at 2",5 1/2", 7 1/2" and 11". Score on the short side at 6 1/2"

Once you have done this cut three pieces of patterned paper, 6"x 3", 4" x 3" and the third piece 1" x 3". Now stick these to your A4 paper as shown and leave for a while to dry. Stamp your chosen sentiment in the empty space.

Once the paper is secure cut and notch at the bottom edge and burnish all the fold lines.

Place a length of double sided tape down the half inch edge and fold over to attach to the other side. Fold all the bottom edges in and glue into place to complete your bag. Gently squeeze the top sides inwards until the top edges meet.

You can now fill and decorate it as you wish, I went with the Daisy Delight Stamp and Punch and secured the top with a lovely Gold Binder Clip, but ribbon would look equally nice. Inside fits two votive type scented candles or any treats of your choice.
