Birthday Wishes Extravaganza

As you might know I was away last weekend at my Stampin Up Teams craft weekend. It just so happened that the weekend coincided with an event that Stampin Up was holding nationwide. They had asked us to put on a Birthday Wishes event which involved holding classes, workshops and making cards to donate to the Ronald McDonald Houses Charity.
This charity supports families by providing them with, amongst other things, houses to stay in near to the hospitals that their children are in.

At the weekend our Team Leader kindly provided us with a selection of designer paper and cardstock from the Whole Lot of Lovely Suite and all 44 of us had ninety minutes to make a selection of cards.

Between us we made 208 cards and no two were the same, which just goes to show that with some paper, cardstock and a stamp set just how much you can do.

I used the Happiest of Days Stamp set to make mine. The Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Paper is just gorgeous, I had it on my wish list and it will definitely be on my next order.

Sorry the photo isn't great, but you get the idea. I love this idea of stamping the sentiment onto one of the layers and reducing the size of the top layer. I think I can feel a few more cards like this coming on !

Happy Stampin
