When I can, I try to take part in the Global Design Project Challenges.
The team are Stampin Up Demonstrators from all corners of the World where Stampin Up products are available.
As I usually make quite clean and crisp cards I thought I would get a bit inky this week with the Touches of Textures Stamp Set and the colours in the challenge, Basic Black, Old Olive and Calypso Coral.
I must admit that although I like the colours individually, I am not so keen on them all together, but hey ho I am happy with the end result.
For a change I made a Tag Shape and used a couple of the background stamps in Old Olive and Calypso Coral and inked around the edges with the same colours.
I then used Basic Black for the flower stamp and because I thought it needed a sentiment I used my favourite one from the Layering Love Stamp Set.
To finish off I doodled randomly....not always easy...around the edge. I punched a 1/2 " circle and topped it with a bow made from the Calypso Coral Ombre ribbon to set off the tag look and added a few Old Olive Enamel Shapes
I layered the finished tag onto a Whisper White Card Base topped with a layer of Basic Black.
Please pop over to the Global Design Project Page and have a look at the other entries, they are all quite fabulous.
