Remarkable You and a Global Challenge

Global Design Project  #075

Stampin Up Remarkable You with Dragonfly Dreams. Paperjay Crafts

I just love this Remarkable You stamp set and I love how this card turned out. I got the stamp set from my wonderful upline for sales achieved and I had hankered after it for a while but wasn't sure how I would use it...but why did I wait so long...??

I think this would make a fabulous card for Mothers Day.

I had taken the almost finished card to show my friend, a fellow Stampin Up Demonstrator, who was at the time making a card for the Global Design Project, the theme this week is "Winged Creatures".

While I was visiting she very kindly let me use her bumblebee stamp so I could enter the challenge too.

I stamped two of the flowers onto Whisper White cardstock and after letting the ink dry sponged the colour on ,then fussy cut the flowers. One flower I glued on flat and the second I glued the stem flat but used dimensionals for the flower head to give it a 3D look. I then drew a line of dots around the image so that it popped.

Hope you like it as much as I do.

You can download pdf versions of the catalogues in the sidebar, but if you would like a 'proper' version do give me a shout. Remember also for every £45 you spend you get to pick a free item from the Sale-a Bration catalogue. This offer ends on 31st March 2017.

Pootles Blog Hop, Bookcase Builder Stamp Set

Stampin Up Bookcase Builder

It's my second week on the Pootler's Design Team featuring the Bookcase Builder Stamp Set.

There are lots of lovely small images in the set and this week I have used the baby images to welcome a new arrival to the family.

I made a card base from Blushing Bride cardstock a pretty pink and made the first layer with the lovely soft yellow So Saffron.

Using the baby images in the stamp set I made my own backing paper by randomly stamping the images in different colours on Very Vanilla cardstock.

After stamping the sentiment from the set onto Very Vanilla and layering onto Blushing Bride I used dimensionals to mount this onto a So Saffron Stitched Shape Framelit and lace doily.

I made a little bow from the Calypso Coral ribbon in the Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishment Kit to finish the card off.

I think it's a lovely welcome for Baby Isabella Louise

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and I have given you some inspiration for using this versatile stamp set.

Stampin Up Stylish Stems

Stampin Up Stylish Stems

I'd like to share with you today some projects I made for a card swap in my Stampin Up team group.

The theme was to use products from the Spring Summer catalogue and I decided to use the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies. These Framelits can be used to either cut out lovely, delicate flower shapes or cut a stencil.

I had to make five cards and they had to be good so I decided to make them all the same but in a few different colourways.

I used Real Red, Bermuda Bay and So Saffron cardstock to make the base card.
I then mixed and matched the colours, along with Peekaboo Peach, to make the first layer.

I then cut a top layer from Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped with the dotted stamp from the Avant Garden Stamp Set.

I used the large flower die to cut out a stencil shape within one of the Layering Circles framelits and mounted this on a matching scalloped circle of Carousels and Cupcakes designer Paper Set. I made the sentiment in the same way using the label die and a stamp from the Beautiful You Stamp Set.

I finished off with a couple of flowers and a leaf behind the sentiment. I also added a die cut to the centre of the flowers in the plain cardstock .

I added a plain insert to the cards decorated with a stencil made from the large flower die cut.

I really enjoyed making these cards and I received five beautiful cards in return.

Pootlers Design Team Blog Hop with Bookcase Builder

Hello Everyone

Great excitement ....I have been chosen as a member of the Pootlers Design Team and will be taking part in a Blog Hop for the next three weeks.

This monthly Blog Hop showcases a different Stampin' Up! Stamp Set every month and this month is the fabulous Bookcase Builder.

This is my first project,  a great masculine card

I have recently discovered this fabulous colour cardstock...Indigo Island and I love it !
So I decided to keep this blokey card simple and just add black and white.

I stamped the images in Black on Whisper White cardstock and used the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies to make Frames in Basic Black.

I layered up the sentiment and decided to stamp a border around the edge of the card with the dooty line stamp from the same set.

As I said I kept it simple but struggled not to add any extra embellishments....

Thanks for stopping by today I hope you have enjoyed all the projects.

The lovely fairground horse stamp is from the Carousel Birthday Stamp Set, I have layered the image up on the Oval Stitched Shape Framelits Die Set. I hand cut some bow shapes from black card and added an enamel shape.

Big on Birthdays Cased Card..

Hello Everyone,

At the end of January I took part in my Stampin Up teams bloghop. One of my teammates posted a couple of lovely cards and so...I copied them for some birthdays I have this month.

Here at Stampin Up we like to Copy And Share Everything..I have used different colours and embossing folders..lol.

I made these using Indigo Island and Rich Razzleberry cardstock and the Cable Knit Embossing Folder. I used Silver and Gold Foil sheets to layer up, and a Metallic Enamel Shape to finish off.

The sentiment is from the Big on Birthdays Stamp Set from the Spring Summer catalogue.
I think these are such smart masculine cards that we all struggle to make sometimes, but would equally make lovely ladies cards with the addition of flowers and embellishments

So Thanks Jill for your fabulous design. X

Beautiful You, Thank You Card

Hello Everyone,

Every month I take part in a Card Swap. The theme for January was "Thank You "

I used the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper and the Beautiful You Stamp Set from the Spring/Summer catalogue

I added a die cut from the Detailed Floral Thinlits in Sahara Sand for some extra interest and the layered background from  the Oval Stitched Shape Framelits.

The little flowers I added to the image are the bits that fall out from the floral die !

I may have mentioned before how much I love this Stamp Set and the papers. You can make so many different beautiful cards.

Spread the Love this Month

Hi Everyone,

Well here we are, February already. A few weeks ago my team leader gave us a colour challenge. pick two stamp pads at random ( no peeking) and produce a project with them. I got quite lucky with Pool Party and Real Red but there were some humdingers picked out by some of my teammates !

But to be honest I had used these colours at Christmas and was a bit bored with them. Then, when I was planning my blog posts for this month I really felt that I wanted a nearly, but not quite Valentine card to start the month with. So I went with those two colours.

I think it's a really pretty card. The sentiment comes from the Layering Love Stamp Set and I heat embossed it on the Oval Stitched Shapes Framelits. The background paper is from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack, a lovely set in Real Red and Whisper White.

Lastly I die cut some leaves from the Stylish Stems Framelits and finished off with a Red Glimmer Paper Heart.

So in this month of Love let us all spread some happiness around.

Hey Chick, Egg Timer

Hiya,

Welcome to my third blog post featuring the Sale-A=Bration stamp set "Hey Chick".

I love the way this set could feature in so many kitchen projects as well as making Fabulous Cards.

I found a small box frame and thought I would use this crazy chick stamp in it, and as I stamped it out and framed it, I realised that if I used some of the other sentiments in the set it could be an egg timer !

You would not believe the trouble I had finding an egg timer....just pop down to the charity shop I thought...bound to have some........no , no and no.

Eventually I purloined one from my dear Mama and then I had to redo my background and paper piecing because the original version was red and green,

The lengths we go to for our art !

Anyway that's my projects using the Hey Chick Stamp Set, pop back to the previous two posts if you missed the others, I think they are worth a look.

This Stamp Set is one of the products that are free with any purchase from our current catalogues of £45 , that is for every £45 you spend you earn a free product. Click on the Shop Now button to get started.

Look in my sidebar for the PDF versions or I can post you out the catalogues if you prefer.

There are some great offers on at the moment.

If you would like to start your collection of the wonderful Stampin Up products go to my online shop and click join the fun. You can then purchase goods to the value of £130 ( yes, that's anything you want) and pay only £99.
THEN you get to choose two extra  Stamp Sets FREE ! on top of that....BARGAIN.

You can then continue to buy your products at a discount, just keep the stuff you have bought and play with it or start to work as a demonstrator. It really is up to you .

If you would like any more information please get in touch. You can also find me on Facebook as Paperjay Crafts, it would be lovely if you could pop over and like my page if you get a chance.
